About Me

Greetings! I’m D, an instructional designer, lifelong artist, educator, and curious problem-solver who has always loved finding creative ways to help people understand, connect, and grow. After 18 years as a professional art teacher, I’m bringing that same creativity, empathy, and love of learning into instructional design. I enjoy turning ideas into experiences that are not only visually engaging, but purposeful, approachable, and meaningful.

Outside of learning design, I enjoy exploring new places and taking on challenges that push me outside of my comfort zone. Having lived and worked in within a wide range of communities, I’ve learned to adapt to different environments, perspectives, and needs. I bring that same curiosity and flexibility to instructional design; embracing new projects, acquiring and administering new skills, and finding refreshing ways to solve problems to generate meaningful experiences for different learning audiences.
