MY INSPIRATION
MY CHILDHOOD
My passion for Art began as a child.  My attention to detail was sharp and allowed me to render imagery quickly.  My peers and teachers were of immense support; as well as my father, an Architect, with his own passion for Art and Design. It was in high school that I discovered a desire to work with children.  After countless summers at various camps working with kids, I decided a life advocating for the Arts in schools would be necessary.
MY SANCTUARY
MY STUDIO
My Studio is my sanctuary.  It is a reflection of my personality which translates into my finished pieces.  It is a space that allows me the solitude to study my subjects, the organization to plan my aesthetics, and the simplicity to execute materials in a timely fashion.
MY TEACHING
MY STUDENTS
I am grateful for the experience of teaching Art to children.  Because of the support of my students and community, I have been able to create additional services that enhance the power and experience of creativity.  My blog, "MODERN+elegant for Kids" showcases many photos of our murals, our bulletin boards, and Art lessons.  I have also begun writing and illustrating children's picture books that cature the spirit and joy of creating art.
